Our Hillsdale behavioral health unit encourages the least restrictive level of care that is clinically appropriate. Crisis intervention and short-term acute inpatient care is available to stabilize individuals by providing the highest quality medical and psychiatric resources. Our behavioral health team coordinates patient care with outside clinicians, social service agencies and patient families to ensure a smooth transition among levels of care.
Admissions to Hillsdale Hospital’s behavioral health unit can occur 24 hours a day, seven days a week for adults 18 years of age and older. All patients are admitted under the care of a psychiatrist. Staff members will personally assist with program admission and referral procedures.
