Acute & Critical Care

Twenty-four hour patient care services at Hillsdale Hospital are delivered through an organized and systematic process designed to ensure the delivery of safe, effective and timely care and treatment.

Critical Care and Intensive Care

Our four-bed CCU/ICU unit serves critical and/or intensive care patients experiencing acute and chronic illnesses from heart attacks to trauma. We also have two step-down beds for patients that are still in need of a higher level of care than on the traditional inpatient unit, but don’t need a CCU/ICU bed. All staff is involved in bedside care and providing the highest quality patient care and support for families.

Nursing

Nursing services are essential to help patients recover or learn to manage their chronic illnesses. Hillsdale Hospital’s 19-bed medical/surgical unit is staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) trained to care for a wide array of patient needs in a compassionate, safe and comfortable environment.

Although each unit differs in patient population and levels of illness, they have a common nursing goal: to provide knowledge-based, comprehensive care that supports the hospital’s values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship and Excellence.
