Hillsdale Surgical Group welcomes Dr. Nitin Sharma
Hillsdale Hospital is pleased to welcome Nitin Sharma, MD, FACS, FASMBS, to Hillsdale Surgical Group. Dr. Sharma will begin seeing patients on March 23. He brings decades of general and bariatric surgical experience to the Hillsdale community.

After receiving his bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery from Pune University in India, Dr. Sharma completed his residency training in New York at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center and Brookdale University Hospital, where he was a resident and chief resident of general surgery. Prior to working at Hillsdale Hospital, Dr. Sharma served as an attending general surgeon at several healthcare facilities, including Insight Coldwater in Michigan, Atlantic Health in New Jersey and Marion Health in Indiana.

Dr. Sharma specializes in gastrointestinal, bariatric and colorectal surgeries. He is a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, the American Board of Surgery and the World Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons.
