Top Workplaces Industry awards celebrate organizations that have built people-first workplace cultures within their sector. This award marks Hillsdale Hospital as an employer of choice for those seeking employment in the healthcare industry. Only 48 organizations with 500-999 employees are being recognized in this year’s publication.

“Receiving an award like this is a great honor because of the work our team puts into our culture,” said Jeremiah J. Hodshire, Hillsdale Hospital president and chief executive officer. “Every department contributes to the way we grow as an organization, and being named a Top Workplace for Healthcare speaks to our commitment to both patient care and workplace excellence.”

Energage is a purpose-driven organization that develops solutions to build and brand Top Workplaces. The Top Workplaces program has a 15-year history of surveying more than 20 million employees and recognizing the top organizations across 60 markets for regional Top Workplaces awards.

“This recognition is evidence of the culture our hospital family has developed,” said Stacy Feltz, chief administrative officer of Hillsdale Hospital. “We greatly value our community’s trust as we work together to provide excellent healthcare, and our employee culture plays a real role in supporting that care.”

Survey results are calculated by comparing the survey’s research-based statements, including 15 Culture Drivers that are proven to predict high performance against industry benchmarks.

“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That’s something to be proud of. In today’s market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That’s paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
