Detroit Free Press recognizes hospital for cultural excellence
Hillsdale Hospital has been named a 2024 Top Workplaces in Michigan by Detroit Free Press. This list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC. The confidential survey uniquely measures the employee experience and its component themes, including employees feeling respected, supported and enabled to grow.
“Hillsdale Hospital is honored to receive this Top Workplaces award,” said Jeremiah J. Hodshire, president and CEO. “Our team is dedicated to serving this community, and we’ve built a culture that’s worth celebrating.”
The Top Workplaces program recognizes organizations that have created a workplace of cultural excellence for their employees. Over the past 18 years, tens of thousands of organizations have participated in the Energage Workplace Surveys, which collect employee feedback to determine the award winners.
“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That’s something to be proud of. In today’s market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That’s paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
“Our goal is to create a strong work culture where our employees are engaged in doing what they do best,” said Stacy Feltz, chief administrative officer. “We take pride in our team’s commitment to a healing hospital environment. This award is a reflection of their positive contributions to this workplace.”
