Hillsdale Hospital Awarding Up to $50,000 to High School Seniors Pursuing Nursing Careers

Future of Nursing Academic Assistance Program Accepting Applications

HILLSDALE, Mich.—Hillsdale Hospital today announced availability of applications for its Future of Nursing academic assistance program. High school seniors are eligible to apply for tuition assistance of up to $10,000 per year for up to five years for an associate degree in nursing (ADN) or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

“We love this program because it has brought us nurses with local roots that have both started and continued their careers at Hillsdale Hospital,” Meghan Campbell, Chief Nursing Officer, said.

Applications are available on Hillsdale Hospital’s website at www.hillsdalehospital.com/education. The deadline for submission is Monday, April 3 at 4 pm.

“The value of the Future of Nursing program cannot be overstated,” Campbell said. “When we are able to recruit and retain Hillsdale County students who will come back and care for their community after completing their nursing education, our hospital and our patients win.”

Selected applicants will participate in an interview round and the winners will be announced at the end of April.
