
Joshua Daugherty, Director of Information Security & Technology
Joshua Daugherty received his Associate of Arts from Jackson College and his Bachelor of Applied Science in Information Security and Cyber Defense from Baker College. Joshua most recently received his Master of Business Administration in Cyber Defense from Siena Heights University. He is CompTIA – A+ and CompTIA – Security certified. Joshua is also a Certified Networking Associate and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional.
Prior to his employment at Hillsdale Hospital, Joshua worked in several industries, including jewelry, heavy equipment operation, and shipping and receiving.
Joshua’s career at Hillsdale Hospital began as an intern in 2011. He then volunteered his time and was a contract employee for the hospital before accepting a full-time position as IT support analyst. Joshua earned several promotions, becoming network administrator, then information technology manager before his most recent promotion to director of information security and technology.
Outside of work, Joshua serves his East Jackson community as president of the parent-teacher association. He also developed cybersecurity curriculum for high schoolers to earn college credit at Jackson College and Adrian College. Joshua serves on the Michigan Health & Hospital Association’s Technology Council.
