Ken Rubin, NP

Ken did most of his surgical training in the Army, and served in the Gulf War. He has practiced as a nurse practitioner for over 12 years. He enjoys the ability to see his patients before, during and after an injury and/or surgeries, helping them through the transition from injury to recovery and prevention. He has worked in Hillsdale for seven years, and lives in Coldwater. He has a son who is almost 10 years old and enjoys being a father and keeping fit. He also has been a soccer coach the last three years in Coldwater AYSO.

He enjoys the ability to discuss patients' goals with them and get them back to their previous, if not a better, physical condition. He listens to his patients and helps plan their care with their input, as well as his own orthopedic knowledge. He feels that it is an important part of recovery to have the patient feel empowered in their health care. It is important for his patients to feel that he listens and that he is there to advocate for their health.
