Ken Rubin, NP

Ken did most of his surgical training in the Army, and served in the Gulf War. He has practiced as a nurse practitioner for over 12 years. He enjoys the ability to see his patients before, during and after an injury and/or surgeries, helping them through the transition from injury to recovery and prevention. He has worked in Hillsdale for 7 years, and lives in Coldwater. He has a son who is almost 10 years old and enjoys keeping physically fit and being a father. He also has been a soccer coach the last 3 years in Coldwater AYSO.

He enjoys the ability to discuss with patients their goals, and getting them back to their previous, if not better physical condition. He listens to his patients and help plan their care with their input, as well as his own orthopedic knowledge. He feels it is an important part of recovery having the patient feel empowered in their health care. It is important for his patients to feel that he listens and that he is there to advocate for their health.
