Biography
Chezlynn Chinavare was born and raised in Monroe, Michigan and brings nearly 30 years of healthcare experience to Hillsdale Hospital. She began her nursing career in critical care, working in CCU and ICU units in southeast Michigan before founding and operating her own assisted living facility for nearly 20 years.Chezlynn is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who earned her master of science in nursing from the University of Michigan. She specializes in orthopedic care and fracture prevention and holds a Fracture Liaison Certification through the Bone Health & Osteoporosis Foundation. Her clinical focus is on preserving mobility and promoting independence across the lifespan.
She moved to the area in 2006 and also serves as an adjunct professor at Jackson College, where she mentors the next generation of nurses. Chezlynn lives on a local lake with her husband, Kevin, who is originally from Ireland.
