Biography

Dr. Testa earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a general surgery residency at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. Shortly after residency, he joined Henry Ford Macomb as a core faculty member for the general surgery residency teaching program and holds the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at Michigan State University and Central Michigan University medical schools. Dr. Testa has special clinical interests in robotic/laparoscopic surgery, oncological surgery, colorectal surgery, hernia surgery, traumatic/wound surgery and medical education. He has been inducted as a fellow in both the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons. He currently serves as the Trauma Medical Director at Hillsdale Hospital and is grateful to serve the Hillsdale and surrounding community to help keep surgical care close to home.
