For years, Trevor had been driving to a larger city for healthcare, but was disappointed with the quality of care he received.
“You don’t get in so quick,” Trevor said, “and you’re always talking to somebody different. You may be on the phone with somebody you don’t even know.”

Ken Rubin, orthopedic nurse practitioner, listened to Trevor’s concerns and determined that knee injections would be the best treatment option. This procedure has given Trevor long-term relief and reduced his need for pain medication.
Trevor also became a pain clinic patient to help manage back problems he’d been experiencing. Before moving forward with any procedures, Trevor’s pain clinic provider always ensured that Trevor felt well-informed of his pain management plan first.
“He explained what he was going to do, and what we may be doing in the future,” Trevor said. “When he told me his plan, he explained to me why he was doing it.”
