Donors can make an appointment or walk-in for this community blood drive at Hillsdale United Brethren Church
Hillsdale Hospital will host a community blood drive on June 30, 2026 with the American Red Cross to provide life-saving blood donations to local and national blood banks.
WHAT: Community blood drive to ensure the availability of blood for patients suffering from chronic diseases, traumatic injuries and other conditions requiring blood transfusions.
WHO: All blood types from eligible donors will be accepted at the blood drive. Donors will be evaluated for eligibility through an online questionnaire and at the blood drive before donating.
WHEN: Tuesday, June 30, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
WHERE: Hillsdale United Brethren Church, 1300 S. Hillsdale Rd., Hillsdale, MI 49242.

Blood is routinely transfused to patients with cancer and other diseases, premature babies, organ transplant recipients and trauma victims, according to the Red Cross. Donors of all blood types are needed, especially those with types O negative, B negative and A negative. Type O negative is the universal blood type that can be safely transfused to anyone, and is often used to treat trauma patients.
