Insurance Authorization Coordinator
Full-Time 40 hours/week|8am – 4:30 pm |Pain Clinic

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior knowledge of insurance verification/ authorization processing required
  • Computer skills in word processing, data spreadsheets and data presentation required
  • Exercises primary responsibility for scheduling patient visits based on criteria established by the provider
  • Ensure Medical Record documentation is accurate and timely with the proper format and language
  • Manages time effectively to ensure insurance authorizations have been obtained in a timely manner
  • Coordinates and uploads all pain clinic charges while working with billing agency and internal parties to regularly verify charges
  • Updates and verifies all insurance coverages for pain clinic services, provides timely notification of all non-covered services
  • Must be committed to Service Excellence and embrace the Vision, Mission, Values and Culture of Hillsdale Hospital
  • Must be flexible, dependable, responsible and a team player with a favorable attendance record and employment history
