Diabetes Education

Want to learn more about Diabetes? Need support in managing this disease? Need help in keeping blood glucose normal? All classes are taught by a Certified Diabetes Educator / Registered Dietitian and a Registered Nurse.

Offering monthly diabetes Education Sessions. Please contact Denise Lovinger, RD, CDE for more information or to register.

Topics covered include:  Medications, blood glucose monitoring, nutrition, exercise, reducing risks of complications, coping with diabetes, and problem solving.

Choose one of the following three-session classes:

April 4, 11 & 25 at 2 pm
April 4, 11 & 25 at 6 pm

Our 2024 classes will take place in the Annex Training Center at 168 S. Howell Street. You are welcome to bring a family member or friend with you.  You must have a doctor’s referral to attend the program.  If you need help obtaining a referral, we can provide assistance.

Individual Diabetes Counseling

Individual counseling is available with a registered dietitian / certified diabetes education.
